Vita-Pro 68 meal (substitute product: NT70)

This protein concentrate is produced by drying and grinding using bacterial paste and sugar by-products (molasses, beet slices) of glutamic acid (amino acid) production. The product is a free-flowing, fine powder with a high amino acid content, a brown color, and a characteristic odor.

In the industrial production of glutamic acid, one of the steps in the production process is the fermentation of the plant origin’s raw material. During fermentation, the “work” is done by microorganisms, in this case, bacteria, which provide the energy needed for their lives by breaking down carbohydrates. These microorganisms are also produced in large amounts due to the volume of industrial production and, as a by-product at the end of the production cycle, also provide valuable raw material for other uses, mainly in the feed industry.

Vita-Pro 68 protein concentrate is also formed in this way by drying the bacterial biomass. Due to its high protein content of 68%, this product is a valuable ingredient with a characteristic odor, somewhat reminiscent of fish meal. Because it is a fine, powdered product, it can be easily used to make various blends.  Due to its high protein and significant mineral content, this is also one ingredient in our feed pellets!
